Hello 2013!!!!

Well it's almost here...2013! Where has the year gone??? It has flown by in a haze...possibly a nail polish fume inflicted haze. Been a great year and can't wait for the next one.
There's a lot of things I want to achieve (nail wise) next year including:
- Getting my pre-designed nails into some local salons
- Featuring in the press with my designs....big or small
- Learning new techniques including the use of real feathers, fine art, decals, fimo, flocking...the list is endless!
- Open up a small eBay shop selling handpainted custom nail and nail art supplies
- Do a guest blog on another bloggers blog (world record for the number of times 'blog' can be used in one sentence?!)
All that on top of personal things that I am hoping for in 2013 :D it's all pointing to a great year

Getting ready for 2013...

Well another year almost over and an exciting one ahead (hopefully!). Looking forward to lots more nail fun and spreading my designs with the world (well...whoever is interested).

Did a little New Year nail design to see out 2012 and see in 2013. Had a great 2012...got engaged, got a new baby niece, moved to leeds, started taking nails seriously (still a long way to go yet) and can't wait for 2013...exciting times.

My New Year Resolution is to stop worrying about things that don't matter and to start enjoying life more and do the things that make me happy :)

Christmas Tree, oh Christmas tree

Here's another little festive design. Starting to feel more like Christmas....love this time of year! A time to spend with family and friends, good food and drink....and of course have glittery nails :)

Been working on some novelty Christmas designs....need more practice but had fun with them. Starting to feel ready to start thinking about Christmas now :)

If anyone had any designs they would like me to attempt please let me know...ready for any challenge.

Pink Dotty Disco

Love these nails. These were done using Models Own 'Sophies Pink' and detail was added using Nubars amazing halo polish which looks like you have painted your talons with diamonds. These are super girly and would be a great stocking filler for a girly friend, daughter, mum....or dad if they are feeling particularly festive :)

Please let me know what you think to the design. I can do the design in other colours too if you require as I have every colour under the sun (and more!) in my collection. I think I have just about hit the 200 mark.....oooops!

Champagne Love

These were done using Models Own 'Champagne' which is a gorgeous shimmery polish and stamped using Konad's black polish and a Bundle Monster plate. I actually had this design on my own nails for a party and it was a real eye catcher and got lots of comments :)

First set.....'Black & Neon Disco'

Well here goes...my first set of hand painted nails. These were done using Barry M's Black Multi-Glitter (333) which I love so much because its like a party in a bottle and I then used various neon colours from La Femme to add the design. Let me know what you think. Makes me wanna put on 'Carwash' and have a boogie.

First Post :)

Well, here's my first post and this is me....the one with glasses. This is my attempt to share my love of all things nail art (and maybe other snippets of life!).

I fell in love with nail art a couple of years ago and have built up quite a collection of polishes and supplies since....can never have too much polish is my eyes. I felt that it was about time I shared my designs with the world so please take a look and I will be extremely thankful for any feedback given.
